We offer a short instruction on how to install a shock absorber bump stop yourself.
To facilitate access to the bump stop, remove the wheel arch liner above the wheel. Then we unscrew the nuts that fix the shock absorber itself. As a result, the shock absorber should literally slip out, although there may be additional fasteners that will hold the shock absorber.
Gently freeing the stem, it is very easy to put our bump stop on it! That’s all, as you can see, the work is not so difficult, but everywhere there are nuances. After installing the bumper, you can safely assemble and install everything back into place!
It is also worth paying attention to the components (gaskets), since during reassembly they must be installed back in their place or completely replaced with new ones.
